This is a communal animation where students from various schools were asked to color in cels of an androgynous figure that would then be scanned and put together into the animated gif. These cels for coloring are not available in the gallery but only to students who are currently enrolled in a public school system.

So We Color
So We Color is a series of installation works where participants Choose a coloring page to color in and can scan to add their piece back into the communal animation. The animation is projected at the front of the space with desks set up for viewers to sit in. There are various art materials usually used in public schools during coloring assignments in the classroom such as crayons, colored pencils, pens, and markers.
